Dessie Mae Lawson, age 69, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was born in Fordyce to the late Aaron Hall, Sr. and Mary Lee (Moore) Lumpkin.

Her memories will be cherished by her children: son, Eric Hall of Little Rock; daughters, Felinda Hall of Fordyce and Amelia Lawson of Nashville, TN; brothers, Eugene Hall of Fordyce; Joe Hall of Sierra Vista, AZ, James Hall of New Orleans, LA and Aaron Hall of Fordyce; sister, Suzette Parker of Little Rock; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Brown-Williams Funeral Home in Fordyce. Viewing in church will be 45 minutes before service for open viewing. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Faith COGIC at Fordyce with Clergy Elder Aaron Hall, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery at Fordyce by Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce.
