Myrna Ann Turner, age 85, of Stamps, Arkansas, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born in the little town of Princeton, Arkansas on October 27, 1940 to James and Myrna Lawrence.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stamps, a great cook, and the wife of a deacon of the church.
Keeping her grandchildren was a highlight that brought joy to her heart. Her greatest joy was when she found the Lord during her teen years. She continued loving Him by telling others about her salvation and sharing His Word with her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Myrna Lawrence; brothers, James Robert Lawrence, Jr., and Donald Lawrence; and a sister, Francis Hern.
Survivors include her spouse, T. G. “Glen” Turner; son, Bro. Mike Turner (Alicia) of Stamps, AR; daughter, Shelia Renee Turner of New York, NY; sister, Margaret Parham-Watson of Hope, AR; and grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Eric, Adam (Abbigail), and Joseph Turner.
Visitation was held Monday, March 2, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at A. O. Smith Funeral Home at Stamps.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 3, in the A.O. Smith Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating, followed by interment at 2:00 p.m. at the Murfreesboro Cemetery at Murfreesboro.
Services were provided by A. O. Smith Funeral Home at Stamps.
