It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Joann Wages, age 70, of Hampton, Arkansas, who left us on Friday, February 27, 2026.

She was born on October 12, 1955 in Camden, Arkansas to Buddy and Marie Earnest Cosby.

Wages was a beloved wife and mother, touching the lives of many with her warmth, and kindness.

She is survived by her husband, David; a daughter, Lindsey Wages Ponder; son-in-law, Garrett Ponder; brother Don Cosby; sister-in-law Mona Cosby; eighteen nieces and twenty-three nephews, who will cherish her memory and continue her legacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Marie Cosby; sister, Levenda Cosby; and father and mother-in-law, Edward and Jean Wages.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Sardis Cemetery near Sparkman.
