Hulen Sorrells, age 92, of Holly Springs died Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Camden, Arkansas. He was born August 28, 1933 in Holly Springs, Arkansas.

He was a retired carpenter and he also ministered in several churches over the years. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Lloyd Sorrells and Zola Launius Sorrells; wife, Mary Sue Sorrells; two daughters, Carol Sorrells and Dorothy Sue Coke; three brothers, J.L. Sorrells, Charles Dean Sorrells, Clifford Sorrells; two sisters, Rosa Lee Mosley, Pauline Pennington; and two great grandchildren, Korbin Castleberry and Jade Elise Moore.

Hulen is survived by one son, Lynn (Bonnie) Sorrells of Holly Springs; six grandchildren, Mary (Jarrod) Ivy of Glenwood, Scott Coke of Hot Springs, Justin (Sydney) Castleberry of Magnolia, Johnny (Brooke) Castleberry of Donaldson, Brittany (Leo) Murphy of Hampton, Elizabeth Sorrells of Holly Springs; and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to White Oak Cemetery Association. Visitation was Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. Friday at White Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tony Williams officiating.
