George Allen Moore, age 75, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Moore was born in Fordyce to the late Herman Moore, Sr. and Mae Emma Williams Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marcella Yvette Lawrence Moore.

His memories will be cherished by his children: son, Marcus Allen Moore of Mabelvale, AR and daughters, Sable Yvette Sherrod of North Little Rock, Essence Williams of Mablevale and a sister, Jacqueline Williams of Fordyce; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Fordyce with Bishop John Daniel officiating. Interment was in Greenville Cemetery at Fordyce.

Brown-Williams Funeral Home of Fordyce was in charge of arrangements.
