Linda Ruth Arrington Gilbert, age 74, of Fordyce, died Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Born June 21, 1951 at Jonesboro, she was the daughter of the late G. L. Arrington and Martha Jane Staggs Arrington.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gilbert, and a brother, David Arrington.

She is survived by three sons, Chris Barnes of Fordyce, Cory Barnes and wife, Brenna, of Sheridan, and Casey Barnes of Oklahoma City, OK; a stepson, Shade Gilbert of Conway; a brother, Phillip Arrington,l of Fordyce; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, at Barnes Cemetery.
