Billy Harold Bryant, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Southern Hills Nursing Home in Rison, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Amelia Childress Bryant; a son, Joe Michael Bryant, two sisters, Reba Bryant Morgan and his twin sister Betty Bryant Lowe.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Tim) Reaves of New Edinburg and Lea Ann (Coy) Price of Maumelle; grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Bryant of New Edinburg, Emily (Ryan) Weeks of East End, Matthew (Brandy) Reaves of Jena, Louisiana and Will (Rachel) Reaves of New Edinburg, Christopher, Olivia, Anna and Collin Price of Maumelle; 12 great-grandchildren, Abbie, Ethan, and Sophie Reaves of Jena, Louisiana, Thomas, Julie, and Jase Reaves of New Edinburg, Jack, Nate, and Sadie Bryant of New Edinburg, and Noah and Mallory Weeks of East End.
Everyone that knew him, knew he was crazy about turkey hunting. He even made turkey calls that he gave to everyone. He was a mail carrier for the New Edinburg Post Office for many years, where he retired from. He was also a lifelong member of Smith Chapel Church of God in Kingsland, Arkansas.
Visitation was held Friday, April 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Benton Funeral Home. Burial was at Smith Morgan Cemetery in New Edinburg.
Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce was in charge of arrangements.
