Friday, October 9. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Dallas County District Court will provide an “Amnesty Day.
The four-hour grace period allows anyone with outstanding warrants or fines through the district court to clear up their case without fear of arrest.
Participants can speak directly with Dallas County District Judge Tom Wynne and ask questions about their cases, learn about payment options, and take steps to resolve warrants, fines and potential driver license holds.
The event will be at the Dallas County Courthouse at 206 W. 3rd Street in the second floor courtroom in Fordyce. No appointment time is necessary to schedule.
Billed as “One Day. One Opportunity. Your Day in Court,” the event aims to help those who wish to clear up their issues without worrying about arrest.
For more information, call the Dallas County District Court at (870) 352-2332.
Law enforcement personnel at the city and county level encourage anyone with an outstanding warrant or fine to not put off resolving the problem.
