A day after drubbing Pine Bluff, the Fordyce Redbugs dominated the Zebras behind the standout pitching of Bryant Robinson.

Robinson threw a no-hitter for Fordyce in the 7-2 win over Pine Bluff on Tuesday (March 24) at Taylor Field.

Pine Bluff scored first in the second inning when Myles Huntley was hit by a pitch, resulting in a run. Fordyce responded by taking the lead in the top of the fourth; an error brought in two runs, followed by a single from Kaden Quimby that drove in an additional run.

Pine Bluff’s starting pitcher, Kaden French, surrendered 11 hits and seven runs (six earned) across seven innings, striking out seven batters and issuing two walks.

The Fordyce Redbugs accumulated 11 hits throughout the contest. Robinson excelled at the plate, leading the lineup with three runs batted in and going 3-for-4. Both Kaden Quimby and Chase Humphrey recorded multiple hits, while Humphrey also collected two stolen bases.

In total, the Redbugs stole seven bases during the game and executed one double play. Myles Huntley led Pine Bluff with one RBI, and the team also turned one double play.
